SIMPLE PAST TENSE



The simple past is used for a completed action that happened at one spesific time in the past.

Example :
1. My father went to Japan last year
2. Jenny washed the dishes after dinner

I worked Did i work? I did not work

PRESENT PROGRESSIVE




SUBJECT + + (VERB+ING)



Example :
1. Andi is eating dinner now
2. He is sleeping in the room
3. I am reading grammar book
4. We are playing language card now
5. They are watching TV

Present progressive also used to indicate future time

Example :
1. Benny is leaving for Jakarta tomorrow
2. I am flying to New York next month
